We've all had a bad haircut before... and that's where my story begins. Back in high school, I never felt like I could find the right barber.
After a friend of mine a friend who was into cutting hair introduced me to the field I suddenly realized what the solution to my barber problem was... BECOME A BARBER. After that realization I started slowly collecting gear and acquiring new skills falling deeper in love with the art of cutting as time went on.
Most people picked up a hobby during the pandemic... but for me I just dove head first into the one I already had. I spent most of 2020 learning everything I could about being a barber. I spent more time with my mentor, but predominantly taught myself everything I could and practiced on willing friends and family when I had the chance.
Well it didn't take long to realize this passion project was becoming more than a hobby. Soon I was building up a steady clientele, taking risks, getting even better gear and a business was in the process of being born.
I'm fortunate enough now to serve clients in both Virginia where I currently live and in Maryland where I grew up, working with family and friends old and new. I'm still working towards continuing my education, obtaining new certifications and always acquiring new skills to be the barber I never had. This business has really taken on a mind of it's own and I can't wait to see where it takes me!
